Our client Öztuğ is a well-established industrial company that manufactures plastic, rubber, and metal parts for various sectors, primarily the automotive and defense industries.

Challenge
The customer wanted to develop a mobile-connected breathing exercise device for COPD patients, patients recovering from surgery, and athletes. The challenge was to accurately measure breathing in ml/sec and guide users to stay within recommended limits. All this had to be done while ensuring the system operated with zero mechanical resistance.
Solution
We designed a custom hardware architecture featuring an STM32L4 MCU, MEMS microphone, Bluetooth, and Li-ion Type-X battery. Bersy Electronics supported the customer by training an AI model on a custom dataset designed for edge computing, developing a cross-platform mobile application, and delivering both ultra-low power consumption and high accuracy.
